T-Scanシステムを用いた新しい咬合接触力診査法を開発し,正常有歯顎者ならびに片側遊離端欠損症例にIMZインプラント義歯を応用した。1)咬合接触力の位置と大きさを求め,咬合の前後,左右的バランスが可視的に評価可能となった。2)正常有歯顎者の咬合接触合力の位置は,ほぼ第一大臼歯遠心部と正中矢状面の交わる領域に存在した。3)インプラント義歯装着で,咬合接触状態が必ずしも正常者のそれに近づくとは限らず,咬合のバランスが図られない症例も存在した。4)インプラント義歯装着で,咬合接触合力の大きさはかならずしも増加しなかった。5)咬合接触合力の位置ならびに大きさにより,インプラントに加わる負荷をある程度予測可能となった

献体を用いてヒト顎関節の肉眼解剖学的研究を行い,円板位置が正常な顎関節と,円板が前方に転位した顎関節について,下顎頭,下顎窩の形態の比較を行った.また,各個体の下顎窩と下顎頭の大きさの相対的指標としてSella-Nasion (SN)間距離を計測し,下顎頭,下顎窩の各計測項目との相関をも検討した.SN間距離と下顎頭,下顎窩の大きさとの間には有意な相関関係はみられなかった.下顎頭前後長は前方転位群が正常群より有意に小さく,内側でその傾向が顕著であった.下顎頭内外長は正常群と前方転位群との間に有意差をみなかった.下顎窩の深さ,前後長はともに正常群より前方転位群が大きかった.特に外側でその傾向が顕著であった.関節隆起後斜面角は前方転位群が正常群より急峻で,その傾向は関節の外側で顕著であった.関節の外側と中央で円板転位量と関節隆起後斜面角との間に有意な正の相関関係をみた.下顎窩に対する下顎頭の相対的な大きさは,下顎窩前後長/下顎頭前後長,下顎窩深さ/下顎頭前後長ともに前方転位群が大きい値を示し,円板が前方に転位した関節では下顎窩に対する下顎頭の大きさが小さい関節が多かった
