    第一に、地方自治体などの行政組織を対象に,新たな社会的課題の解決を民間企業や非営利組織など外部機関との協働を通じて行うメカニズムを事例研究によって探求するため,その予備的考察を行った。行政部門と外部機関との協働には市場の失敗・行政の失敗を補完するボランタリー組織の機能に関する議論が後知恵的にあてがわれてきた。行政にはない資源・能力を外部機関に求め,また資源的・情報的に劣位にある外部機関がそれらを行政に依存するという従来一般的だった考え方を一歩前進させ,行政自身が新たな資源・能力開発を実現するために外部機関との協働関係を構築し,組織改革を通じて自己革新するという論理を開発しようとした。
    第二の研究は、その目的が多数派に対する少数派の影響力の源泉を考察したもので,先行研究をもとに探索的な計画実験を行った。少数派の意見が集団全体の見解として多少なりとも反映されるためには,それがいかにして可能かを考察する意義は小さくない。集団的意思決定の過程を,大きく2つの下位集団の間でそれらの量的構成が著しく偏っている場合に限定し,実験的状況において少数派の影響力がいかにして発揮されるかを分析した。
    第三の研究は、技術的イノベーションの発生メカニズムを明らかにするという問題意識の下、日本型知識創造のあり方を巡って独自の理論的視座を構築しようとした。比較的長期にわたる時間軸の導入を前提とし、広く産業界で支配的パラダイムが成立する中で、それを個々の企業家のイニシアティブによっていかに転換できるのかを説明するため、藤井(2017)の議論を大幅に改定し「蟻の一穴」というべき小さな変化が大きなうねりへと変化していく可能性に着目した。また今般の技術的イノベーションが、トフラーの『第三の波』で予言された社会的分業間の架橋(生産者と消費者との融合形としてのプロシューマーの台頭)として位置づけられることを述べた。

    Based on a comprehensive theory of Japanese-style knowledge creation known as J-form model by Lam (2000), this research aimed at constructing a theory focusing on social interactions as well as introducing the time axis there. Based on a perspective called "ants' hole" theory, we conducted a case study of FP Corporation and discussed a relevance of applying Luttwak and Toffler to the context of innovation research. In addition, we applyed Moscovici's socio-psycological study upon social impacts of social minority to the micro level basis of our framework. An experiment was attempted upon a hypothesis from the viewpoint of cooperation between minority and "minority in the majority".

    This research outlines an extensive field research of denim jeans production in the Setouchi district in Japan. A special emphasis is placed on how 'flexible specialization' functions in the district so that the agglomeration of small specialist companies can realize creative product prototyping, surrounded by uncertain environments on both supply and demand sides (Piore and Sable, 1984 ; Seki, 1993). There is a general belief that horizontal specialist networks provide more flexible production capabilities under high uncertainty, compared to traditional keiretsu networks where product prototyping and mass manufacturing processes are hierarchically coordinated by large flagship companies. However, our field research in the past years has found that hierarchical aspects amongst small specialist companies still remain facing ever fiercer environmental uncertainties. Such small companies, on the one hand, lose their former flagship companies which shift their production venues out of the district under the pressures from low-cost foreign manufacturers. Focused on less price-sensitive and more demanding consumers, domestic production networks are now in the trial and error process of transforming themselves into horizontal specialist networks and conduct creative product prototyping on their own. On the other hand, simply due to their inexperience in product prototyping, certain hierarchical aspects persist, since they make tremendous efforts to find new flagship companies who complement inadequate prototyping capabilities of the specialist companies. At the same time, however, such aspects seem to presume a certain range of variations facing high uncertainty, which seems to be adaptively rational from an evolutionary perspective. In order to formalize the functions which new flagship companies may play, this research employs Knight's distinction between 'uncertainty' and 'risk'. Further, traditional keiretsu systems and recent horizontal specialist networks are hypothesized as two distinctive ideal types which are good at handling 'risk' and 'uncertainty' respectively. Lastly, after reporting the difficulties which denim jeans specialist networks face in the Setouchi district, two brief case descriptions from our field research demonstrate different patterns of adaptive variations by trial and error under high uncertainty

    In the long-term care insurance, users are supposed to choose providers of long-term care. However, the information for choosing the providers is very limited. Hence, it has been said that users don't chose the providers by themselves, instead care managers recommend them the providers. However, the recommendation of care managers has been considered to be impartial due to pecuniary motivation. Hence, we studied how care managers recommend users the providers.

    This research aims to clarify the basic evidences related to a series of problems about institutional care services. In Chapter 1, we clarify factors in care worker's intention to quit and job satisfactions. To provide good quality care services, we must secure enough care workers. So, it is very important to clarify working conditions to attain it. In Chapter 2, we clarify factors in subjective long-term care insurance premium burden. To introduce the competition into institutional care services, it is inevitable to increase the number of providers, which should lead to increase in the premium. Understanding factors in subjective long-term care insurance premium burden would give us the important basic knowledge needed to provide institutional care services in the future. In Chapter3, we clarify the factors in timing of nursing home placement hoped by caregivers. Although nursing homes are considered to be under excess-demand, in reality, some of the demand is for "reservation", and there are many waiters living outside their own home. Our respondents include those who living outside their own home previous researches exclude. In Chapter 4, we clarify factors in three indicators related to the quality of care services in group home. The indicators are discretion of managers, frequency of family members' visit and line of terminal care.

    論文「ゲームソフト開発における戦略オプションの選択」の目的は,日本のロールプレーイングゲームの開発競争を分析することによって,産業の発展期における企業家たちの果たす機能を明らかにすることである.ギャンブル性や多様な試行錯誤などを特徴とする高不確実性の市場では,産業レベルでの戦略的多様性が求められる一方で,企業レベルでは容易に同型化への圧力に屈しやすいと指摘されることが多い.2大ロールプレーイングゲームのメーカーであるスクウェアとエニックスの詳細な事例分析によって,2つの戦略オプションのトレードオフ関係という形で,これまでしばしば与件として扱われてきた「企業家の選好・意志」を経営戦略の理論に組み込める可能性を指摘した.また産業衰退のこう着状態を抜け出すうえで,企業戦略の多様性がしばしば無批判に礼賛されるが,場合によっては発展可能性を自ら閉ざす可能性もあることを指摘した.
    論文「研究開発におけるインセンティブ:青色LED裁判のケーススタディ」の目的は,技術的成果の帰属を巡る議論の交通整理を行い,制度論的な思考方法の意義を明確にすることであった。技術的成果の帰属先を「技術者個人」に求めようとすれば,その時々の技術者個人の生産性によって対価を決定する限界分析か,相対取引を行うかいずれかになる。しかしながら前者は現代の研究開発環境には適用困難であり,また相対取引は取引費用がかかりすぎる。技術者コミュニティにおける集団としての知恵という観点から,事前に個々の発明がどの程度新奇性があるのか,また使用者にとってどの程度の価値を有するのか,意見を聴取しておくことは,事後的に職務発明の対価請求を巡って使用者・従業者が対立することを防ぎ,また訴訟が発生した際に,貴重な情報源となるであろう。
