Profile

国吉康雄の作品をコンテンツとした体験型アートイベントである「国吉祭」のプロデュースを行なっており、このイベントの製作プロセスから、「地域とアートの関係」を調査・研究しています。「国吉祭」は、国吉康雄研究講座を中心に、地域の団体と企業、行政機関との協働により運営を行っており、この運営組織の組成とイベントの制作、伴う広報活動、教育・地域連携プログラムの⽴案と実施を、講座が提供している講義内で行っています。

    以下、受賞理由。

    岡山出身の画家国吉康雄の研究と検証活動を進める中で、国吉型・対話探究型美術鑑賞法を開発し、新たな教育プログラムとして外部の文化団体と協働しながら実践している。
    また、学校や市民と協働しながらアートイベント「国吉祭」、ワークショップ、シンポジウム、展覧会等を開催し、地域の文化芸術資源を広く市民に向けて紹介する活動に取り組んでいる。
    本講座が岡山の地域資源を広く発信し、岡山市の芸術文化の振興と教育普及に貢献している点を評価するとともに、今後もその活動を継続することを期待して本賞を贈る。

    2021年度から2022年度の活動は、「国吉型・対話探究モデル」を、(1)熊本地震で被災した油彩画作品の修復プロジェクトを通して「震災記憶と地域文化の継承」を試みる熊本県御船町、(2)元ハンセン病患者が制作したアート作品を展示する長島愛生園歴史館、(3)近代化による経済基盤の変化とその影響をアート施設の設置背景とする香川県直島などのアート施設。の３つ視点で導入するために、各アート作品とアートプロジェクトの対象作品の取材と分析、国吉型・対話探究モデルの予備実施であった。
    (1)から(3)のプロジェクト全ての作品を扱った「And Recovering Them そして、それらを回復する」を、岡山大学創立五十周年記念館と同附属中央図書館に会場を特設し開催。文化庁令和2年度第3次補正予算事業 ARTS for the future! コロナ禍を乗り越えるための文化芸術活動として、一般社団法人クニヨシパートナーズが主催し、この企画を国吉康雄研究寄付講座が担った。(1)熊本地震で被災した田中憲一作品と修復に関するパネルを展示。(2)長島愛生園で展示されることのない大型油彩画作品を複数展示。(3)島へのアート作品導入の背景を知るため、豊島事件(産業廃棄物不法投棄事件)に関する写真を、実寸代の大きさに引き伸ばし展示。関連する作品として直島に常設展示されている千住博作品のうち、直島展示と同シリーズ作品を展示。
    展覧会の構成は「国吉型・対話探究モデル」を会場内で実施することを前提に設計し、事前に同モデルを体験し、会場内で来客者に同プログラムを実施するワークショップや、参加者を一般公募し、岡山大学生と岡山県内外の社会人に対して、オンラインで同モデルの実践をした。結果、同モデルに対する発見や参加者の変化があり、有用性の確認をすることができた。2022年度の実施では母数を増やし、改善につなげていきたい。
