【目的】本研究の目的は，学業に積極的でも非積極的でもない中間群大学生の「知覚された無気力」の特徴を，4年間の追跡調査によって明らかにすることである。2019年度は計4回の追跡調査のうち，ベースラインとなる第1回調査を実施した。
【方法】第1回調査の協力者は，国立大学1校，私立大学3校それぞれに在学する，大学1～4年次生（留年生も含む）547名であった。調査票の直接配布とウェブ上の調査票のいずれかを用いて調査を実施した。調査内容は①デモグラフィック変数（年齢，性別，学年，学部学科），②学業領域における知覚された無気力尺度（大西，2016）15項目，③University Personality Inventory（全国大学保健管理協会，1968）60項目，④大学生活における重点項目（高坂，2016）21項目であった。なお，調査の実施に際しては研究代表者が所属する大学においてあらかじめ倫理審査を受けた。
【結果】第1回調査への協力者547名のうち，337名から追跡調査への同意が得られた。結果の分析により，これまでの研究と同様，「回避－葛藤群」と「達成非重視群」という2つの中間群大学生の存在が確認された。また群ごとのそれぞれの変数との関連性の違いも見出された。
【考察】2回目以降の追跡調査を実施するための十分な協力者数が確保できた。第1回調査時点での各変数間の関連については引き続き分析を進める。第1回調査で得られた値をベースラインとして，今後4年間の各群の変化の違いとその要因を検討する。
