    To utilize a TA system and a pre faculty development in Japan, it's necessary to elucidate and compare the TA system in American universities. This study aimed to elucidate and compare the factors of the TA system in American universities from a historical perspective. To collect old documents were difficult and the collected documents weren't enough for elucidation of the factors for which TA system is utilized. The goal of this study wasn't achieved, and it's needed further studies.
