精神疾患としての痴呆患者を抱える家族への社会資源の導入に関する訪問看護師の認識を明らかにすることを目的に,精神疾患患者への社会資源の導入経験を有する31施設の常勤訪問看護師を対象にアンケート調査を実施し,52名(うち,女性50名.平均年齢41.2±6.7歳)より回答を得た(回収率56.5%).その結果,40名(76.9%)が社会資源の導入について家族より相談を受けた経験を有しており,23名(44.2%)が「家族の世間体」により社会資源の導入が妨げられた経験を有していた.また,社会資源の導入を阻止する要因として訪問看護師は,「家族の経済力」や「家族の価値観,信念」を挙げ,訪問看護師が必要と考える社会資源である精神疾患患者が利用可能なデイケア,利用者に添ったサービス,介護者の交流会,近隣の専門医,などが乏しい状況にあると認識していた

The purpose of the present study was to develop the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Activity Rating Scale (CARS) to measure life-related activity in patients with COPD, and to confirm its reliability and constructive validity in a factorial structure model. The subjects consisted of 114 patients with COPD. An 88-item life-related activity list, generated previously from a literature review, was administered. The secondary structural model consisted of four factors with 12 items. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis by structural equation modeling showed the fit criteria to be statistically significant. The internal consistency of the 12 items was highly reliable (Cronbach's α = 0.924). The CARS score was correlated with pulmonary function tests, breathlessness, and the health-related quality of life (QOL) scales in Pearson correlation coefficient. The results suggest that the COPD Activity Rating Scale is a valid scale for the assessment of life-related activity in patients with COPD.

慢性期看護実習の内容改善に役立てる基礎資料にするために,平成14年度の看護実習の目的に沿った具体的な実習目標において,学生の到達度及び実習目標間の関係を明らかにした.実習目標の到達度は,「自己の看護観や自己成長を培う」が最も高かく,「疾患の病態生理や検査・治療についての理解と看護援助」「セルフケアに向けた看護援助」「危機に直面している患者の看護援助」等の看護実践面に関する目標が高値を示していた.実習目標間の関係では,各実習目標との間に相関が見られ,それらは信頼性のある妥当な慢性期看護実習の目標であった

This study's purpose was the development of a illness-related anxiety cognition scale by which to determine efficacy of nursing intervention upon patient stress. The subjects were 258 patients in K hospital (144 males, 114 females; age-range 21-88, mean age 56.7). A 25-item illness-related anxiety checklist, generated from a review of available literature, was administered. Structure-equation modeling for statistical analysis was constructed to assess goodness fit, with validity achieved through confirmatory factor analysis. The secondary structure model consisted of five factors with 15 items. The results of confirmatory factor analysis revealed that the fit criteria were statistically significant (GFI=0.906, AGFI=0.868, CFI=0.945, and RMSEA=0.074). Intenal consistency of the 15 items was highly reliable (Cronbach's α =0.919). Concurrent validity was assessed using the locus of control scale. Results of the fit criteria are statistically significant.
