岡山大学 副学長（ローカル・エンゲージメント担当）兼 副理事（地域共創・ベンチャー担当）、地域共創本部長、大学院社会文化科学研究科教授
2015年京都大学大学院博士号取得（経済学）
1959年愛媛県西条市生まれ。
1983年全国労働金庫協会・連合会、1985年金融財政事情研究会、2005年現代文化研究所（トヨタ自動車研究所）、2007年愛知学泉大学を経て2011年岡山大学着任、2023年4月から副学長（ローカル・エンゲージメント担当）兼 副理事（地域共創・ベンチャー担当）。2024年3月地域総合研究センター廃止、2024年4月から地域共創本部が設置され現在に至る。
専門は協同組織金融とコミュニティ政策。
