In this paper, a current-source type parallel inductor compensated load resonant high-frequency soft switchinginverter using IGBTs which incorporate a single switched capacitor resonant DC link snubber into DC busline side is presented and discussed, along with its operating principle and its pulse density modulated output power regulation characteristics in thc case of driving the newly-produced silent discharge type ozone generating tube.

In this paper, an auxiliay active resonant commutation snubber(Advanced ARCS)with a coupled inductor-based pulse current feedback loop is proposed as compared with the conventional ARCS. A new three-phase voltage source soft switching inverter incorporating the advanced ARCS circuits in its three phase bridge legs has some advantages such as reduced current rating and peak stresses of auxiliary active power switches and sensorless control scheme without any boost current management required for soft switching. Its operation principle and control scheme are described and a design method of parameters on this advanced ARCS circuit is also discussed. Moreover, this soft switching inverter system with DSP-based digital control scheme is evaluated on the basis of computer simulation and its practical effectiveness is proved by simulation results.

This paper describes an efficient simulation approach of a DSP controlled series-parallel resonant high frequency DC-DC power converter system. Proposed power conversion circuit simulation approach is based on a circuit equation, modeled by substituting time-varying switched resistor circuit in place of all the controllable and uncontrollable power semiconductor switching blocks of power converter circuits. An algebraic algorithm transforms the matrices of the circuit equation into the matrices of the state vector equation. Solution of state equation is by 3rd order Runge kutta numerical integration method. Simulation results are illustrated and discussed together with experimental results.

This paper presents a simple circuit topology of the single auxiliary active resonant DC link snubber(ARDCL) which is used for the instantaneous space voltage vector modulation ARDCL assisted three phase voltage source soft-switching inverter suitable for small scale PM motor drive applications. The specific related pulse processing drive circuit interface of the auxiliary resonant DC link snubber circuit and its soft-switching operation are discussed from an experimental point of view. In addition, the conductive magnetic noise of quasi-resonant snubber-assisted three phase zero voltage soft-switching inverter in the case of PM motor drive in its open loop scheme is actually measured and evaluated in experimental setup as compared with the general purpose three phase hard switching inverter.

This paper presents a new active resonant snubber assisted (Auxiliary Quasi-Resonant Commutation Block-Link; ARCB) voltage source three phase soft switching PWM-PFC rectifier, which can operate under a principle of Zero Voltage Soft Switching (ZVS) commutation. The operating principle and the performances of this digitally controlled three phase voltage source soft switching PWM-PFC rectifier are illustrated and evaluated on the basis of computer aided simulation analysis.

This paper presents steady-state and transient-state performance evaluations of Active Auxiliary Resonant Commutation Snubber (ARCS)-linked three-phase voltage source soft commutation PFC rectifier using a software control scheme which can operate under the conditions of ZVS on all main active power switches in three-phase bridge arm and ZCS on bi-directional auxiliary active power switches in ARCS. This soft switching PFC rectifier is discussed as compared with three phase hard switching PFC rectifier. The total system performances of digitally-controlled three phase soft switching PFC rectifier with each phase ARCS, which implements instantaneous power feedback and DC voltage feedback control strategies are illustrated and evaluated on the basis of experimental and simulation results, together with power loss analysis.

This paper presents a pecrformance analysis of digitally-controlled three-level three-phase voltage source sort switching inverter system incorporating two Quasi-Resonant DC link snubber which can operate under a condition of Zero Voltage Sort Switching (ZVS). This voltage-fed sort-switching inverter suitable for high power applications is evaluated as compared with two-level sort switching pulse modulated inverter. The steady-state system performances of this inverter are illustrated and evaluated on the basis of simulation results.
