    This study is a part of the activity to develop an interdisciplinary class on the climate environment around the Japan Islands and the "seasonal feeling", succeeding to Kato et al. (2014). In the class at the Faculty of Education, Okayama University in 2014, the comparative expression of the seasonal feelings between early winter and early spring was made, with attention to the asymmetric seasonal march from autumn to the next spring pointed out by Kato et al. (2013). The students tried the expression firstly with combination of the colored papers based on the Johannes Itten's (1888-1967) exercise, next with use of the small percussion instruments, and finally with the colored papers again. Analyses of the students' works suggested the deepening of the expressions on different seasonal feelings between early winter and early spring by the interaction of the art and music activities with each other, such as the music expressions with imaging colors or superposition of the tones at the second activity, the art expressions influenced by the music works in selecting the configurations or combination of the colored papers at the third activity, and so on. It is also interesting that the students' expressions of the seasonal feelings seem to be reflected by not only the mean seasonal state but also some specified factors in the seasonal march.

    Single crystals of superconducting U6Fe were grown by both thezone-melting method and the Czochralski pulling method.The upper critical field Hc2 was determined from the electrical resistivityin applied magnetic fields, and Hc2 is found to be anisotropic;13.1 T for the field along the [001] directionand 10.4 T for [110]. Anisotropy of Hc2 is well explained by the effective mass model.

    本研究は、国際バカロレア(IB)で求められる学力や教授法を我が国の教科教育研究の成果をふまえて検討し、教科教育との共通点や親和性を見出したうえで、日本の学校改革の手法としてIBを導入する原理と方法を提案することを目的としている。
    そのうえで、次の三点を到達目標として達成したい。第一は、IBのMYP(ミドル・イヤーズ・プログラム)とDP(ディプロマ・プログラム)の各科目の教育の特質を日本の教科教育との比較において明らかにしていくことである。第二は、IBの原理を取り入れた日本の教科においても実践可能な教育プログラムを開発することである。そして、第三は、高等学校と連携し、開発した教育プログラムを実践し、その効果を検証し改善していくことである。以上の取組をふまえ、我が国の中等教育のカリキュラムや学校経営システム、教員の養成・研修体制をIBの理念を活かして改善するための具体的な方法の提案につなげたいと考えている。
    ここまでの研究においては、上記の目標に向けて次の三つの事業を行ってきた。第一は、我が国の教科教育研究と国際バカロレアの学習を比較するための資料の収集である。主に、歴史、経済、生物、知の論理について教科書を中心に収集をし、当初の目的に近い数を集めることができた。第二は、国際バカロレア入試によって大学に進学した学生に対するインタビュー調査である。ここまで、3名のインタビュー調査を行い、国際バカロレアで学んだ学生は、日本の教科で学んだ学生とは異なり、どのような学習観を形成しているかを明らかにしようとした。第三は、日本の高等学校における探究学習と、国際バカロレアの学習との比較である。日本の高等学校の総合的な探究の時間と国際バカロレアの指導の在り方の検討から上記の課題に応えようとした。今後は、教科書の分析を中心に、可能な範囲で授業の見学や検討を行い、当初の目的を達成したい。

    In order to promote collaborative learning, we have made it possible to display and compare the results of observations and ideas based on that on a tablet terminal. As a result, they promoted the formation of new ideas. In addition, the average value of awareness that "I want to convey my thoughts to other people" and "I notice that I did not notice myself when I talked with other people" increased, and significant differences were recognized.
    In the teacher training by Blended Learning, I showed the teaching plan of the example class example and the situation of the class in the image and proceeded the class research.     The new system, which can stimulate discussions among students in science education class, is developed in this research. This system can work to develop the ability to reach a conclusion through the scientific discussion in the next generation of science education. The system consists of data logger system, the VNC screen sharing system with eight laptop PC (tablet PC) and a center PC, two LCD projectors and a Wi-Fi router. This system is flexible about equipment updating. In the trial lecture for school teacher training and for university students, it was confirmed that comments and speaking among them increased in frequency. It has the effect of increasing the sense of participation to the lesson. A next problem is to develop the construction of lessons which are suitable for this system.

    In the electronic fluids with broken inversion symmetry and strong spin-orbit coupling, we have investigated various topological quantum phenomena and obtained the following results. In noncentrosymmetric superconductors, we clarified the conditions necessary for bringing about a large spin-triplet component. We have succeeded in synthesizing new topological insulators and found that CuxBi2Se3 is a spin-triplet superconductor. We discovered electric-field-effect induced superconductivity in KTaO3 which cannot be made superconducting by conventional chemical doping method.

    We have grown polycrystal samples of non-centrosymmetric superconductors Li_2(Pt_<1-x> Pd_x)_3B and studied the evolution of the superconducting state by NMR. We found that the superconducting state changes abruptly at x~ 0. 8. By analyzing the crystal structure, we found that the Pt(Pd) B_6 tilts abruptly beyond x~ 0. 8, which enhances the spin-orbit coupling and is responsible for the change in the superconducting state properties. We have also studied other non-centrosymmetric superconductors such as Mg_10Ir_19B_16 and Re_7B_3. The results also suggest that the local structure distortion is effective in enhancing the degree of inversion symmetry-breaking.

    The tetragonal HoCoGa_5-type crystal structure is known as a tetragonal variant of the AuCu_3-strucuture in which new superconductors were discovered. CeMIn_5 (M : Co, Rh, Ir) compounds exhibit a variety of interesting properties such as non-s-superconductivity, a first-order transition near the upper critical field, heavy-fermion behavior, pressure-induced superconductivity, etc. In the exotic heavy fermion superconductors, Cooper pairs are expected formed by the exchange of magnetic spin fluctuations, in which f-electrons which are not simply localized play an important role. A large specific heat coefficient and Curie-Weiss behavior in the normal state or low anti-ferromagnetic ordering temperatures are features of the exotic heavy fermion superconductors. PuCoGa_5 and PuRhGa_5 are known as heavy fermion "high T_c" superconductors. Pu has valence states of Pu^<3+>(5f^5), PU^<4+>(5f^4), PU^<5+>, Pu^<6+> in Pu-based compounds, while Sm has Sm^<2+>(4f^6), Sm^<3+>(4f^5). Sm^<3+>(4f^5) and Pu^<3+>(5f^5) ions have the same J=5/2 multiplet, and show the local moment behavior, i.e., obey a Curie-Weiss law. It is interesting that it depends on the particular crystal structure whether Sm compounds show exotic behavior or not.
    We have succeeded in growing single crystals of. SmMIn_5 (M : Co, Rh, Ir) by the flux method. There was no report of the physical properties on single crystalline SmCoIn_5. Specific heat measurement, magnetization measurements and electrical resistivity measurements were performed on SmMIn_5.
    SmRhIn_5 and SmIrIn5 showed the antiferromagnetic ordering and extra transitions below T_N, which is almost same as the results in the previous report. SmCoIn_5 also showed the antiferromagnetic ordering and extra transitions below T_N 11.9 K. The temperatures of these anomalies are 6, 7.6 and 11.9 K and lowest found in SmMIn_5 compounds.

    今年度は、本研究課題の2年目の最終年度である。CeMX_5系、UMX_5系化合物の新超伝導物質の発見には至らなかったが、多くの115系化合物の純良単結晶育成に成功し、系統的に電子状態を明らかにした。また、高圧下でのdHvA効果の研究から、量子相転移点近傍の電子状態の研究を行った。UCoGa_5の純良単結晶育成に成功し、dHvA効果を用いた電子状態の研究を行ない、UCoGa_5が少数キャリアの半金属であることを明らかにした。UCoGa_5とCeCoIn_5は価電子数が1つ異なり、バンド構造中でのフェルミエネルギーの位置が異なる。これが磁性や伝導特性の違いの原因であることを明らかにした。UCoGa_5は半金属でパウリ常磁性、CeCoIn_5は磁気揺らぎの強い系の超伝導であることは、115系の結晶構造で磁気揺らぎを媒介とする超伝導が発現するために総価電子数が重要になる。この観点から、CeCoIn_5と総価電子数が1だけ異なるCeRuIn_5の研究に興味が持たれるが、本研究期間中には残念ながら結晶の育成に成功できなかった。今後の課題である。
    CeRhIn_5の高圧下でのdHvA効果から、f電子が局在的な常圧と比べて急激なフェルミ面の変化はないが有効質量が急激に増大することを明らかにした。超伝導の引力機構に関与すると思われる強い磁気揺らぎは、有効質量にのみ影響を与えることを明らかにした。

    強相関重い電子系の超伝導は、強いクーロン反発力に打ち勝ち伝導電子がクーパーペアを形成する。そして異方的な電子対引力を反映し、等方的なBCS超伝導とは異なる特異な超伝導に転移する場合がある。本研究の目的は、様々な物理量が異方的に分布する現実のフェルミ面上に具体的にどう異方的ギャップが形成されるかを明らかにすることであり、手段として、超伝導混合状態でのdHvA効果を利用する。現在までにCeRu_2、URu_2Si_2、UPd_2Al_3の超伝導状態でのdHvA効果の観測に成功した。s波のCeRu_2から、等方的ギャップが磁場中で異方的になることと超伝導状態のdhvA効果が深く関連することを明らかにした。常伝導状態に比べ、超伝導状態のフェルミ面の大きさは変化せず、伝導電子の散乱の緩和時間は短くなり、有効質量は減少することを明らかにした。一方、異方的超伝導URu_2Si_2、UPd_2Al_3の超伝導状態でのdHvA効果の観測にも成功し、dHvA信号振幅の方向依存性を詳しく研究した。ギャップレス領域にdHvA軌道が一致するときには、ギャップによる振幅の減衰効果が抑えられることが期待されるが、現段階では明確な効果は観測されていない。観測できているフェルミ面がそれぞれ1個なので、このフェルミ面ではギャップが等方的に開いているのか、あるいは原理的に現在の測定磁場では上部臨界磁場に近すぎてギャップレスを検出することが難しいのか明らかではない。複数のフェルミ面で同様な研究を行い、バンド計算と比較し、研究を進める必要がある。

    相関が強くクーロン反発力の強い系で、その反発力に打ち勝ち伝導電子がペアを組み超伝導になるという特異性もつ強相関系の超伝導の機構を解明する手がかりとして、異方的な現実のフェルミ面を基礎にした超伝導発現機構の研究が重要な位置を占めると期待される。申請者らはBCS的超伝導といわれるCeRu_2に於いて超伝導状態でのdHvA効果の観測に成功し、超伝導状態下のdHvA効果が磁場中で超伝導ギャップが異方的になることと深く関連する可能性が強いことを示した。常伝導状態に比べ、超伝導状態のフェルミ面の大きさは変化せず、伝導電子の散乱の緩和時間は短くなり、有効質量は減少することを明らかにした。超伝導状態での新しい散乱機構の存在を磁場中の超伝導ギャップをベースにして議論をし、定性的には磁場で生成されたノーマル電子がdHvA効果振動を起す可能性が高いことを明らかにした。しかし、理論と実験の定量的な一致はあまり良くなく,理論の改良が求められる。一方、URu_2Si_2は非BCS的な異方的ギャップが形成されている可能性が指摘されており、超伝導の混合状態でdHvA効果を測定し、BCS的なCeRu_2の結果などと比較することにより非BCS的超伝導の形成機構解明に重要な情報を与えることが期待される。本研究ではURu_2Si_2のRRR=30の比較的純良な単結晶育成に成功しdHvA効果の測定に成功した。測定できたブランチは1個だが、常伝導と超伝導状態の両方まで観測に成功し、この物質でも超伝導状態での有効質量が減少することを初めて明らかにした。まだ、研究の初期段階であり、試料の純良化などを行い、dHvA効果の角度依存性などを詳しくする予定である。
