    <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>A fundamental problem posed from the study of correlated electron compounds, of which heavy-fermion systems are prototypes, is the need to understand the physics of states near a quantum critical point (QCP). At a QCP, magnetic order is suppressed continuously to zero temperature and unconventional superconductivity often appears. Here, we report pressure (<jats:italic>P</jats:italic>)-dependent <jats:sup>115</jats:sup>In nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) measurements on heavy-fermion antiferromagnet CeRh<jats:sub>0.5</jats:sub>Ir<jats:sub>0.5</jats:sub>In<jats:sub>5</jats:sub>. These experiments reveal an antiferromagnetic (AF) QCP at <jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$${P}_{ { \rm{c } } }^{ { \rm{AF } } }=1.2$$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML">

    <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Superconductivity appears in the cuprates when a spin order is destroyed, while the role of charge is less known. Recently, charge density wave (CDW) was found below the superconducting dome in YBa<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Cu<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>O<jats:sub>
    <jats:italic>y</jats:italic>
    </jats:sub> when a high magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the CuO<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> plane, which was suggested to arise from incipient CDW in the vortex cores that becomes overlapped. Here by <jats:sup>63</jats:sup>Cu-nuclear magnetic resonance, we report the discovery of CDW induced by an in-plane field, setting in above the dome in single-layered Bi<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>Sr<jats:sub>2−<jats:italic>x</jats:italic>
    </jats:sub>La<jats:sub>
    <jats:italic>x</jats:italic>
    </jats:sub>CuO<jats:sub>6</jats:sub>. The onset temperature <jats:italic>T</jats:italic><jats:sub>CDW</jats:sub> takes over the antiferromagnetic order temperature <jats:italic>T</jats:italic><jats:sub>N</jats:sub> beyond a critical doping level at which superconductivity starts to emerge, and scales with the pseudogap temperature <jats:italic>T</jats:italic>*. These results provide important insights into the relationship between spin order, CDW and the pseudogap, and their connections to high-temperature superconductivity.</jats:p>

    (1)強磁性スピンゆらぎが存在するスピン三重項超伝導体K2Cr3As3の高品質単結晶の作製に成功した。
    (2)K2Cr3As3の関連物質Cs2Cr3As3において、1K以下の低温まで磁化率測定を行い、この物質の本質的な超伝導転移が1.2Kで起こるが、磁場をc軸に平行にかけると、フィラメント的な超伝導が現れることを明らかにした。
    (3)カゴメ構造をもつ超伝導体CsV3Sb5における電荷密度波の構造がダビット星型であることを明らかにした。
    (4)スピン三重項超伝導体CuxBi2Se3において、磁場によってベクトル秩序変数の制御に成功した。スピン三重項超伝導体CuxBi2Se3のベクトル秩序変数の方向が結晶軸からずれることを発見した。また、その理由はフォノンとの結合であることを明らかにした。
    (5)スピン三重項超伝導体CuxBi2Se3の超伝導軌道関数(ギャップ対称性)がpxの対称性を持つことを明らかにした。

    We have conducted nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments to elucidate the origin of the novel charge density wave order in Cu-oxide (cuprate) superconductor, which is the most promising candidate for room-temperature superconductivity among known superconductors. From systematic measurements, we have obtained new findings that indicate the importance of "charge fluctuation" in addition to spin fluctuation, which has been believed to be the origin of high-temperature superconductivity. Based on our results, further developments of physics of the cuprate superconductivity in theoretical and experimental studies focusing on charge fluctuations are expected. Another purpose of the study was to introduce uniaxial strain, a new external parameter that has recently been the focus of much attention in condensed matter physics, into NMR experiments, and we succeeded in developing an laboratory-made piezoelectric uniaxial strain cell during the research period.

    The purpose of this project is to search for novel superconducting state in materials with triangular or hexagonal lattices. Some of the materials we studied lack spatial inversion center, and thus anti-symmetric spin-orbit coupling is enhanced which can induce spin-triplet superconducting state. Others have van Hove singularity in the electronic band structure which is favored by unconventional superconducting states. We performed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements to study the temperature, magnetic-field, and crystal axis dependence of the spin-lattice relaxation rate and Knight shift. Through these measurements, we have revealed the exotic properties of several materials.

    (1)NMR study of Sr2VFeAsO3 under high pressure; In iron based high temperature superconductor Sr2VFeAsO3, we found an antiferromagnetic order above Tc and obtained novel pressure-temperature phase diagram of superconductivity and antiferromagnetism. (2)High temperature NMR study in SrPt2As2 superconductor; We found multiple charge density wave orders in SrPt2As2, which coexist with superconductivity by NMR measurement up to 600K. (3)High pressure NQR and resistivity measurements on CeRhIrIn5; We found that a unconventional superconducting state is induced near the antiferromgnetic quantum critical point in CeRhInIn5. (4)NMR study in Ce1-xLaxFeAs2; We found electron doping enhanced antiferromagnetism and its coexistence with high temperature superconductivity in Ce1-xLaxFeAs2. (5) High field NMR study in high Tc cuprate; By applying high magnetic field up to 45T, we found a CDW order is induced after suppressing superconductivity in underdoped cuprate.

    本研究計画は、重い電子系における反強磁性磁気「量子臨界点」に着目し、低温高圧下核磁気共鳴(NMR)/核四重極共鳴(NQR)測定を通じて量子臨界点と非従来型超伝導の関連を調べている。平成24年度は、本研究計画最終年度であり、重い電子系反強磁性超伝導体CeRh0.5Ir0.5In5の低温高圧下NQR実験を通じ、量子臨界点と量子臨界点における超伝導ギャップ構造に注目し、その圧力相図を完成させた。
    具体的には、CeRh0.5Ir0.5In5におけるIn-NQRスピン格子緩和時間(T1)の常伝導状態の温度依存性から、反強磁性揺らぎが絶対零度に向けて発散する圧力、つまり量子臨界点がPc=1.2GPaであることがわかった。同時に、圧力下のTc測定から、CeRh0.5Ir0.5In5の超伝導転移温度が量子臨界点で最大値Tc=1.4Kを示すことがわかった。これは量子臨界点近傍の反強磁性スピン揺らぎがTc上昇を助けていることを示す直接的な証拠である。
    また、3He冷凍機を用いた極低温のT1測定から、量子臨界点で超伝導ギャップ内の残留状態密度が極めて大きくなることを見出した。
    このことは、量子臨界点でTc最大となる超伝導は、ギャップレス超伝導であることを示す。このようなTc増大を伴うギャップレス超伝導は、過去に知られている超伝導現象では説明出来ない全く新しい現象であり、重い電子系超伝導発現機構解明に向け、新たなきっかけを与える重要な成果であると考えられる。

    1. NMR study of high-Tccuprate in very high magnetic field; by applying high magnetic field of 45 T, we revealed the pseudogap ground state for high Tc cuprate after suppressing superconductivity for the first time.
    2. NMR study of magnetism and superconductivity in iron-pnictide superconductors; we found the phase diagram of iron-pnictide superconductor is similar with high-Tccuprate indicating that magnetism helps to raise Tcin iron-pnictide as well as cuprate.

    (1)充填スクッテルダイト化合PrOs_4Sb_<12>の温高圧下Sb-NQR法による研究
    充填スクッテルダイト化合物PrOs_4Sb_<12>の重い電子超伝導と四重極揺らぎとの関連を低温高圧下核磁気共鳴法によって調べるために、世界初となる5万気圧を超えるSb-NQR用対向アンビル型圧力セルの開発を行った。この圧力セルはこれまでの高圧下核磁気共鳴法の標準的加圧装置であるピストンシリンダー型(最大圧力3万気圧未満)に比べ、核磁気共鳴には十分な量の試料空間を備えるものである。平成22年度において、室温でおよそ6万気圧の加圧テストに成功した。今後未踏の5万気圧下NMR実験によって、本物質の電子状態解明のみならず、他の系における様々な新しい知見が得られると期待される。
    (2)新奇Fe系圧力誘起超伝導体CaFe_2As_2の量子臨界現象と非従来型超伝導に関する研究
    鉄系超伝導体は2008年に発見された全く新しい高温超伝導体であり、その超伝導状態や発現機構は不明である。本研究課題では世界に先駆けて単結晶CaFe_2As_2(P_c~5kbar,T_c~5K)を用いた系統的な低温高圧下As-NMR/NQR実験を行った。その結果、超伝導のクーパー対の対称性が、加圧によってギャップレス超伝導から、d波的な超伝導へと転移する(圧力依存性を示す)ことがわかった。このことは本物質の超伝導が、「量子臨界点」近傍で発現していることを示す。また、常伝導状態の電子状態の圧力依存性から、鉄のd電子による多バンド構造由来のスピン揺らぎが超伝導発現に重要な役割を果たしていることを明らかにした。本研究成果は、鉄系超伝導が重い電子系超伝導と普遍的な性質を持つことを示すものであり、量子臨界点を通じた系統的な理解が今後期待される。

    We have grown polycrystal samples of non-centrosymmetric superconductors Li_2(Pt_<1-x> Pd_x)_3B and studied the evolution of the superconducting state by NMR. We found that the superconducting state changes abruptly at x~ 0. 8. By analyzing the crystal structure, we found that the Pt(Pd) B_6 tilts abruptly beyond x~ 0. 8, which enhances the spin-orbit coupling and is responsible for the change in the superconducting state properties. We have also studied other non-centrosymmetric superconductors such as Mg_10Ir_19B_16 and Re_7B_3. The results also suggest that the local structure distortion is effective in enhancing the degree of inversion symmetry-breaking.

    本研究では、電子相関効果やスピンフラストレーション効果が期待される層状遷移金属二酸化物の電気化学的強酸化合成とその電子構造の解明を目的とした。特に、巨大熱起電力や超伝導の発見により注目を集めている層状コバルト酸化物の一種であるLixCoO2系について、Li量 (x) を幅広く制御した高品質試料の合成と物性評価を行い、Li量 (x) をパラメータとする電子状態図を構築した。

    ・重い電子系充填スクッテルダィト化合物PrOs_<4>Sb_<12>の超伝導相図の確立
    PrOs_<4>Sb_<12>の超伝導はその4f電子の結晶場励起と密接に関連していることが多くの実験事実から示唆されていた。この結晶場を実験的に制御(加圧)し、超伝導との関連を調べることが期待される。本研究では、インデンター型圧力セルを核磁気共鳴測定に新たに導入し、これまでは微視的測定では到達が困難であった3GPa以上でのSb-NQR測定に成功し、3GPaを超える圧力下でこの物質の結晶場励起に関する情報を世界で初めて報告した。またPrOs_<4>Sb_<12>の超伝導と、結晶場の関係について微視的視点から圧力相図を明らかにした。
    ・重い電子系反強磁性体Celn_3の圧力相図の確立。
    重い電子系超伝導はいわゆる量子臨界点近傍(絶対零度での二次相転移点近傍)で発現することが広く信じられている。本研究では詳細な低温高圧下NQR測定から、重い電子系化合物Celn_3の反強磁性一常磁性量子相転移は一次相転移であることを明らかにし、圧力誘起超伝導はその一次相転移点近傍で誘起される新奇な量子臨界現象を媒介として発現するという、これまでの常識を覆す全く新しい事実を見出した。
    ・Na_<x>CoO_2・yH_2O超伝導の圧力効果。
    層状Co酸化物超伝導体Na_<x>CoO_2・yH_2Oは、同じ3d電子を舞台とする銅酸化物高温超伝導体との系統性からも世界的に注目されている。本研究では低温高圧下NMR/NQR測定からNa_<x>CoO_2・yH_2Oの超伝導の圧力相図を確立し、圧力下におけるこの物質の異方的超伝導と電子相関の関連を世界で初めて明らかにした。

    本研究では、加圧によっ,て重い電子系の磁性と超伝導の相関、そして超伝導発現機構の解明をめざしている。
    また、重い電子系超伝導体CeIrIn_5の圧力下NQR測定によって、重い電子系化合物における新たな超伝導発現機構の存在を示唆する結果を得た。
    具体的な成果は以下の通り。
    1.重い電子系反強磁性圧力誘起超伝導体CeIn_3の圧力誘起反強磁性-常磁性転移が一次相転移であり、超伝導はその一次転移近傍で発現することを明らかにした。電気抵抗測定から強く示唆されていた量子臨界点の存在を否定する初めての結果を得た。この結果は、これまで量子臨界点近傍の強い磁気揺らぎによって誘起されていると考えられてきた重い電子系超伝導発現機構に、一次相転移という新たなキーワードを付与する重要な結果である。また、強磁性圧力誘起超伝導体UGe_2においても強磁性-常磁性転移が一次相転移であることを見出し、一次の磁気相転移が超伝導発現に果たす役割が、重い電子系において系統的に理解される可能性を示唆する。
    2.常圧でT_c=0.4 Kの超伝導体であるCeIrIn_5は、IrをRhで置換すると、負の圧力効果から、反強磁性秩序が誘起され、かつ超伝導転移温度(T_c)が上昇することが報告されており[1]、Ce115系における超伝導が磁気揺らぎによって誘起されていることが強く示唆される。一方CeIrIn_5を加圧する(磁性から遠ざける)ことでも超伝導転移温度は上昇する[2-4]。この時常伝導状態は、T_cが増大するにも関わらず、核磁気緩和率の温度依存性からフェルミ液体状態であることを見出した。つまり高圧下のCeIrIn_5の超伝導は磁気揺らぎとは異なる起源で誘起されていることがわかった。このことは、Ce115系、ひいては重い電子系超伝導体において、磁気揺らぎと、もう一つ異なる超伝導発現機構が存在するというこれまでにない新たな重要な知見を得た。
