In 2021, approximately 70% of traffic accident fatalities at pedestrian crossings were caused by drivers violating pedestrian crossing laws, indicating that pedestrians are not always given priority at pedestrian crossings. In response to this situation, the police have been stepping up enforcement, but the effectiveness of such measures is thought to be limited. In this study, we conducted a survey focusing on the standing position and behavior of pedestrians while waiting to cross the street, based on the idea that if pedestrians could clearly communicate their intention to cross the street to drivers, it would be possible to improve the rate of driver’s yielding. As a result, it revealed that standing position has more influence on the yielding rate of cars than behavior while waiting to cross the street. The study also suggested that the effects of standing position and behavior on the yielding rate could be enhanced if drivers were unable to take evasive action.

In Japan, about 60% of bicycle-related accidents occur around intersections every year, and accidents at intersections have become a problem because of violations of laws and regulations by bicycle users. In addition, the "Guidelines for Creating a Safe and Pleasant Environment for Bicycle Use" issued in 2012 states that it is important to grasp the road space and actual conditions of bicycle use in order to formulate a bicycle network plan. In this study, behaviors of bicycle users were recorded by using GPS data, and the relationship between their behaviors at intersections with a stop sign and the road elements at the intersections was examined. First, the rates of stopping and slowing down at the intersections were calculated to grasp the actual condition. Moreover, multivariate analyses were conducted on the compliance to stop and slow down, the passing speed at the intersection, and the deceleration rate just before the intersection, and the factors that are thought to affect each behavior were clarified.

交差点隅切半径の縮小により，左折中や左折直後の走行速度抑制が期待されている．一方で，その後の加速度を抑制できる空間構成を明らかにする必要がある．そこで本研究では，岡山市内15か所において左折後街路における自動車加速度を計測し，街路や交差点における空間要素との関係を明らかにした．その結果，加速度は様々な空間要素によって決定されており，空間要素の改良により抑制できることが示唆された．また，交差点隅切半径の縮小による効果が明らかになった．

我が国の交通事故総死亡者数は交通安全対策の普及・自動車の安全装備の発展などにより減少傾向にあるが、未だに自動車乗車中の交通事故死者数は多く、事故削減により注力する必要がある。本研究では交差点直前に傾斜・カーブを有する、追突危険性の高い交差点付近の交通安全対策の実証実験行い、ラバーポールの導入による自動車速度・走行位置の事前事後変化について検証した。結果として、事前事後で自動車の平均速度が直線部分で 2.5km/h、曲線導入部分で 3.5km/h 低下し、車種別にみると、小型車/普通乗用車の直線部分の速度が約 5.0km/h 低下したことが明らかになった。また、走行位置は軽自動車・小型車/普通乗用車、バス/普通貨物車の全車種で中央車線から約 30cm 離れ、走行位置別に事前事後の速度の平均値の差の結果より、同じ位置を走行していても平均速度が大幅に減少していることが示された。

我が国における交通事故の発生件数は減少傾向にあるが，生活道路では安定した減少傾向とはなっておらず，生活道路の安全確保は重要な課題であるといえる．本研究では，普段の生活道路の利用頻度や，そもそも生活道路をどのような空間と捉えているか等の意識と，個人の特性，自動車運転に関する経験・意識，社会との繋がり方等との関連を把握する．結果として，生活道路利用意識・頻度には，自動車運転時意識，行動基準尺度，生活道路の速度感，ソーシャル・キャピタル等が関連していることが明らかになった．

人口減少・少子高齢化が深刻化している中山間地域では、交通弱者の外出手段確保のため、デマンドバスなどの生活交通施策が実施されている。しかし、その多くは費用対効果の面で減便・廃止となるケースが多い。人口減少局面下で今後生活交通の運営・評価を行うには、地域住民にとって外出がどのくらい重要か、また外出を重視する人に対し生活交通の導入がどのような影響を与えているかを明確にする必要があると考えられる。本研究では、「車の運転ができなくなった後でも現在の地域で住み続ける」という前提の下で外出の重要性を明らかにした。さらに、生活交通の評価が高まることで、「将来の交通手段に対して安心して現在の市町村に住み続けることができる」意識が促される可能性があることを明らかにした。

我が国において、生活道路での死傷事故はあとを絶たず、小学校低学年の児童の歩行中の交通事故での死傷者数が多いことから、生活道路内の子どもの歩行中の交通安全を確保することが重要だと読み取れる。しかし、子どもの歩行者を傷つける危険性のあるドライバーの意識に着目し、子どもの歩行者の交通安全を研究しているものは多く見受けられない。 本研究では、ドライバーの意識に着目し、生活道路内で子どもの歩行者に対するストレス意識を明らかにした。結果、子どもの歩行位置がストレス意識に影響していることが明らかになった。また、ストレス意識が高い層と低い層に分類し、2 項ロジスティック回帰分析を用いて要因分析を行ったところ、家族構成、生活道路に対する意識、自動車運転に関する意識等が影響を及ぼしていることが明らかとなった。

バスなどが廃止され公共交通機関がなくなった地域では、その地域住民自らの手で代替交通の運営を開始するケースが増えている。それらの取り組みに関して、その実現可能性や導入前後の評価についての研究はこれまでに行われているが、その活動と住民の生活満足度や主観的幸福感との関係に関する研究はほとんど行われていない。そこで本研究では、主観的幸福感尺度を用いて、その運営活動に参加する意識が主観的幸福感の向上に寄与するかどうかの検討を行った。分析には生活満足度，ソーシャル・キャピタルなどの総合的な観点加えており、その結果、住民主体による生活交通運営活動への参加意識は、住民の主観的幸福感向上に影響を与える可能性を明らかにした。

我が国における車道幅員5.5m未満の道路での交通事故死者数は，年々減少傾向にあり，平成29年には昭和23年以降の統計で最小となった。しかしながら，歩行中・自転車乗車中の死者数は、全交通事故死者数の約半数を占めており、そのうち約半数は、自宅から500m以内の身近な道路で発生している．本研究では、生活道路の交通安全対策として各地で整備が進められている路側帯カラー舗装について，全国的に一貫した整備指標が定められていない中で，全国の自治体を対象としたアンケート調査より，生活道路における路側帯カラー舗装の整備状況を把握するとともに，路側帯カラー舗装の整備に対する自治体の意識を明らかにする．結果として、生活道路における路側帯カラー舗装の整備には，ゾーン30や安心歩行エリアなどのゾーン対策の導入が大きく影響していることが明らかとなった．また、生活道路における歩行者・自転車に関連した問題意識，及び自動車に関連した問題意識が高いと，間接的に路側帯カラー舗装の整備につながっている因果構造が示された．さらに，歩行者・自転車に対する安全対策の重要性が高いと，ゾーン対策を導入する傾向が高くなり，結果として路側帯カラー舗装の整備につながる因果構造も示された．

我が国における交通事故の発生件数は減少しているが、近年、減少率は縮小傾向にあり、依然として自動車の交通安全対策が必要である。これらを受け、我が国では様々な交通安全対策の実施や、自動ブレーキシステムの導入が進んでおり、ドライバーの意識に着目した研究も多くみられる。 本研究では、ドライバーの意識のみならず、運転経験や個人の特性、ソーシャル・キャピタルによる安全意識の差異を把握した。運転意識の傾向により回答者の類型化を行った結果、「安全運転傾向」「速度重視型運転傾向」「歩行者・自転車注視型運転傾向」「危険運転傾向」の４つのクラスターに分類された。運転意識傾向の要因分析を行うと、性別、ヒヤリハットの回数、ソーシャル・キャピタルといった要因が大きく影響することが明らかとなった。

バス路線が廃止された地区の住民は、自家用車を利用できない場合、移動手段の確保が困難になるということが大きな課題である。この対策の一つとして、地域の住民自らが運営主体となって生活交通を確保する例が存在しており、経費節減、細かい運行調整、地域のコミュニティ活力向上などのメリットが挙げられることから、全国各地での導入・運行継続が行われている。本研究では、この地域住民が主体となって生活交通を運営する地区において、普段利用しない住民による「支える側の意識」に着目し、住民の暮らしにおける満足度、ひいては主観的幸福感とどのように関係しているかを把握することを目的とする。その結果「支える側の意識」は主観的幸福感に関連しており、ポジティブな影響を与えている可能性が示された。

In Japan, in 2015, the reference for physical devices was created, and district traffic safety measures have reached a major turning point. While measures of physical device is promoted future, the traffic safety measure by the color pavement is also popular. In this study, we examined the approval consciousness of local residents to the introduction of the color pavement as traffic safety measure.<br>As a result, in the introduction of the color pavement, it was revealed that awareness controlling vehicle speed by the color pavement are most affected. In addition, involvement with the local community and the way someone thinks about the residential street has affected to the approval consciousness too.

Recent years, a various of local public transport are conducted in the nation. However, in the region, it is difficult to sustain them because there are few users of them. Therefore, it is important to consider how to keep users of local public transport for sustaining it. This study understood the current bus-use and the future intention to use one in mountainous villages, and clarified the factor and conscious structure for them. As a result, it is suggested that there are some bus-users who might stop using bus in the future. And then, it is also suggested that improvement in the assessment of riding and use affects both the current bus use and the future intention to use bus.

Traffic accident frequency has been decreasing in Japan in recent years. Nevertheless, many accidents still occur on residential roads. Area-wide traffic calming measures including Zone 30, which discourages traffic by setting a speed limit of 30 km/h in residential areas, have been implemented. However, no objective implementation method has been established. Development of a model for traffic accident density estimation explained by GIS data can enable the determination of dangerous areas objectively and easily, indicating where area-wide traffic calming can be implemented preferentially. This study examined the relations between traffic accidents and city characteristics, such as population, road factors, and spatial factors. A model was developed to estimate traffic accident density. Kernel density estimation (KDE) techniques were used to assess the relations efficiently. Besides, 16 models were developed by combining accident locations, accident types, and data types. By using them, the applicability of traffic accident density estimation models was examined. Results obtained using Spearman rank correlation show high coefficients between the predicted number and the actual number. The model can indicate the relative accident risk in cities. Results of this study can be used for objective determination of areas where area-wide traffic calming can be implemented preferentially, even if sufficient traffic accident data are not available.

In recent years, traffic accidents in residential road is the rate of decrease is gradual, percentage of all traffic accidents are increasing. Under these circumstances, there is a growing need to promote measures to improve the safety of pedestrians in the living space under the idea of "people first" in order to achieve a safe and secure society. Order to speed suppression of motor vehicles in the life road, visually prompt measures appropriate vehicle running such color paving of roads have been done in various road, and it is possible to suppress the overall speed pavement section is being apparent from the previous studies. However, it is not clear about what the effect is maximized by the how place any color to roadside or roadway life road. In this study, it is an object of the present invention to make it clear about the effect from the consciousness of local residents in the placement and color in the color paving of the road.

For create the security life space, it is important to indicate the security and fear from subjective view and to grasp its trend. In this study, we measured subjective well-being of elderly by using a subjective well-being scale, and revealed how "essential activities" and "leisure activities" and "ease of movement" related to well-being of elderly people.

In mountainous areas, issues such as taking off and reducing service of unprofitable routes of bus are becoming actualized, though efforts to public transport restricting is being carried out by each municipality, it is difficult to provide adequate bus service. Region that in spite can go to hospital and shopping about an hour round trip by using a car become a day-long in the case of using the bus is present. In this study, the bus users and non-users by, we subject to factor analysis to the anxiety of the future mobility, by using personal attributes and accessibility, bus service evaluation. As a result, both bus users and non-users, the difference of accessibility has significantly affect the anxiety of the future mobility, it is also in order to take the bus residents with peace of mind in the future, to reduce the anxiety of the future mobility is important has been shown.

Road space re-allocation measures for traffic safety have attracted attention recently. In Europe, measures including Shared Space have been implemented. Recent reports have described their effects on traffic safety. However, in Japan, few case examples of measures have been reported. Therefore, little is known about effects on residents' consciousness associated with these measures. We therefore made a vehicle speed survey and a questionnaire survey at Shinmon-dori Street, where a road space re-allocation for traffic calming had been implemented. This paper applies covariance structure analysis to analyzed causal relationship between divers, pedestrians and street, and clarifies these causal relationships on shared street.

Road space reallocation measures for traffic safety have attracted attention recently. In Europe, measures including Shared Space have been implemented. Recent reports have described their effects on traffic safety. However, in Japan, few case examples of measures have been reported. Therefore, little is known about effects and problems associated with these measures. This paper clarifies the effects of road space reallocation on traffic safety based on resident attitudes, and verifies its effects through the investigation of changes in actual traffic conditions.
First, we administered a questionnaire survey at Shinmon-dori Street, where a social experiment for traffic calming had been implemented. Results show that the share of good evaluations of walkability increased. The share of evaluations of drivability was unchanged. Next, we examined the relation between the evaluations and effects of road space reallocation, and clarified that “It became easier for me to walk abreast”, “I became able to walk with a secure feeling”, and “I became able to drive at low speeds” are major effects of the measure. Finally, we conducted pedestrian and vehicle behavior surveys at the street to elucidate these major effects in actual traffic conditions. Results show that pedestrians are more likely to walk abreast and on sidewalks under social experimental conditions than under usual conditions. In addition, results show that drivers drive to the middle of the street. Therefore, pedestrians are able to walk on wider sidewalks with a more secure feeling. However, we were unable to confirm a change of vehicle speeds.

The number of relinquishment of the driver's license is growing each year, but it is difficult for them to go shopping or go to the hospital without a car. In this paper, we carried out a questionnaire survey for those who have driver's license and who relinquished the driver's license, in urban and mountainous areas of Okayama Prefecture. We look for the factor's of needs that how to go shopping or to consult doctors without driving. As a result, it has discovered that if they have trouble commuting because of residence inconvenient area or physical weakness, they tend to use life support service more. In order to support independent life of who relinquished the driver's license, it is important to expand the life support service especially in hilly and mountainous area, accompanying with the promotion of relinquishment of the driver's license.

左折導流路内での横断歩道上での出合い頭事故に繋がる，自動車と自転車のヒヤリ事象について分析を行い，左折導流路を通過する自動車運転者の視線が，カーブの内側に向けられる傾向にある為，外側への注意が散漫となっている事を，急ブレーキ発生割合を用いて定量的に示す事が出来た．また，自転車の進入方向の違いによって，急ブレーキを起こす確率が異なることが定量的に示された．

本研究では，安心歩行空間の創出に向けて歩行者のながら歩きに着目し，安心を代替し得る評価指標について検討した．ながら歩きの実態について，「音楽を聴きながら」や「携帯機器を操作しながら」，「誰かと横に並びながら」の頻度が高く，またそのときの歩き方について着目すると，行為によって歩き方が変わってくることが明らかとなった．安全安心意識とながら歩きの関係を検討した結果，安全意識，安心意識の両方が行為の可否に関係することが示された．

本研究では，通院・買物行動の時間帯と活動時間帯が同じである生活行動の制約に着目し，制約の有無別の特性を把握し，バスの総合満足度に影響を及ぼすサービス項目の違いについて明らかにした．その結果，生活行動の中でも昼食の準備・昼食の活動時間帯が通院・買物行動の時間帯と重なってくる傾向にあることが分かり，生活行動に時間制約が有る人は，65歳以上の高齢者が多いことや送迎を頼めば自動車を利用できる人が多いことが明らかとなった．

近年、街路のしつらえやデザインを利用した道路空間を再構築することによる交通安全対策手法が注目を集めており、欧州ではShared Spaceをはじめとしてその交通安全上の効果が示されている。我が国においても、このような手法は歩道の設置が困難な狭幅員の単断面街路においても歩車を共存させるための有効な手段として広がりを見せつつある。しかしながら、空間配分について検討するための基礎的な知見となる歩車が混在する単断面街路における自動車走行速度についてはまだまだ明らかになっていない。そこで本研究では、岡山市内の歩車が混在する単断面街路において、自動車走行速度と歩行者交通に関する現地調査を行った。575台の自動車走行速度を計測し、街路空間とそこを走行する自動車交通並びに歩行者交通の関係について分析した。その結果、歩車混在時における単断面街路でのこれらの因果関係について明らかになっている。

高齢ドライバーの引き起こす交通事故の増加が社会問題となっている。こうした事故を防止する目的で、運転免許返納制度が実施されている。多くの人がいつかは運転を諦めなければならないことを考えると、高齢ドライバーの増加が確実な我が国では、返納を行える環境を整えていくことが非常に重要な課題である。そこで本研究では、免許保有者と返納者で「車に頼らなくても生活できる」と感じる要因の違いについて把握し、保有者と返納者をわける意識構造、返納者の返納満足度に関する意識構造について分析を行った。その結果、保有者と返納者で要因や意識構造に違いがあること、また保有者の返納制度活用意向や返納者の返納して良かったと感じる意識を高めていくためには、公共交通の充実度を高めていく必要があることを明らかにした。

本研究では，歩行者が安心して楽しく歩ける歩行空間に向けて，歩行者のよそ見しながらの歩行に着目し，よそ見に影響を及ぼす要因について検討した．その結果，特に歩行位置によってよそ見のしやすさが変化しており，車道寄りを歩く歩行者のよそ見が抑制されていた．そこで，自動車交通がよそ見に及ぼす影響について検討した結果，すれ違い台数が最も歩行者のよそ見に関係し，また速度の増加によってもよそ見が抑制されることが明らかになった．またすれ違い幅が狭くなるほど，よそ見が抑制される傾向が見られた．

本研究では免許返納と交通事故，認知機能の3者の関係に着目し免許返納の安全性や事故に遭う人の特徴，認知機能と免許返納の関係について分析を行った．免許返納前後での返納者の事故経験を比較した結果，返納によって交通事故は削減されるものと考えられる．また，運転をしている保有者においても認知症が疑われる人が2割弱程度見られ，認知症が強く疑われる人でも，全く返納する気がない人が多数存在することが示された．

本研究では，定時定路線型の公共交通からDRTへ移行して半年を経過した地域を対象に，DRT利用者のデータ及び住民意識調査を用いて，DRT利用の実態と利用頻度の違いによる意識を把握した．利用頻度に関しては，DRT利用が定着してきたと考えられる層が利用者の約1/3存在するものの，利用が定着したとは言いがたい層が2/3存在していることが確認できた．また，DRTの利用頻度が月1回以上の利用者は買物・通院などの日常生活に欠かせない目的で多く利用していることが確認できた．

Many traffic safety measures have been implemented to create comfortable walkability in tourist spots and commercial districts. However, these measures can cause inconvenient vehicle traffic. Sometimes residential consensus can be difficult to achieve in such areas. For them, a practical approach is to impose speed limits that enable pedestrians to walk safely while allowing drivers to share the streets.
This study was conducted to analyze pedestrian behavior and elucidate how to create pleasant and secure walkability on shared streets. This paper presents an examination of pedestrian behavior on a street during a social experiment conducted for improving walkability.
The results show that pedestrians are more likely to walk abreast and on sidewalks under the social experimental conditions than under usual conditions. Under social experimental conditions, the share of street crossings remains the same, although the amount of window shopping increases. In addition, even a small amount of vehicular traffic might prevent pedestrians from looking at attractive shops. Moreover, the number of vehicles correlates inversely with the amount of window shopping done by pedestrians.

Because of the motorization, the regional structures of local cities and their suburbs, rural areas have been changed to automobile based structures. In such areas, despite the anxiety many elder drivers should drive their cars for daily life. Japan will be more severe aging society, so it is very important to establish the living environment where people can live without driver license. In this study, we made a questionnaire survey of the people who relinquish their driver license in Okayama Prefecture, in order to find out the reason and the effect of driver license relinquishment. There often have relationships between residential activities and visitors activities in tourist spots. Sometimes it occurs troubles to make a residential consensus when making a street plans in such places. In order to make a good street plan, it is important to understand the attitude of residents toward the street in tourist spots. In this paper, we carry out a questionnaire survey in residential and shopping area near Izumo Grand Shrine and found that residents feel tourist bustle is most important in tourist spot and that we can classify the residents into three types by the attitude toward the street plan. What is more, the attitudes have influences on an evaluation of social experiment for transportation planning and thinking about street development.

The improvement of the natural surveillance considering the regional characteristics is important for the community design for crime prevention. In this paper, we clarified the difference between the characteristics of the natural surveillance in the snow season and those in the snow-free season. By measuring the brightness at night, it was revealed that more than half of the streets were brighter in the snow season than in the snow-free season. By measuring the amount of eyes on the streets, it was shown that the amount increased in the snow season with the eyes of local residents in removing snow. We suggest that local residents should remove snow at the time when children leave school to increase the security of children and the local community.

本研究では，出雲大社の参道で実施された交通社会実験を事例として，歩道拡幅の道路整備が観光客の歩行に及ぼす影響ならびにその評価について交通実態面と意識面の両面から把握し，さらに観光客の観光地の道路に対する意識についても検討した．その結果，ビデオによる観測調査より，社会実験前と社会実験中の比較から横並びで歩く歩行者が有意に増加し，路側帯内を歩行する歩行者が増加した．一方で横断については，横断回数の顕著な増加は認められなかったものの，横断時間の短縮効果は確認できた．

本研究では免許返納者の家族に着目し，免許返納に対する家族の意識を把握し，家族のおかれている状況と意識の関係について分析した．その結果，多くの家族が免許返納を肯定的に捉えているが，免許返納によって負担が増加した家族も見られた．家族の送迎による負担についての要因分析から，子や孫世代の家族の方が送迎に負担を感じる傾向にあることや送迎の負担の中でも，時間的負担や金銭的負担よりも，頻繁に送迎を依頼されることに対する煩わしさが送迎の負担感につながることが明らかとなった．

本研究では，生活道路の抜け道交通対策としてドライバー心理を考慮した有効な街路整備手法を検討するために，岡山と名古屋の住民を対象に実施した意識調査結果に基づき，生活道路のあり方に対する意識を把握するとともに，街路空間パターンを用いた心理分析により，道路ランクの認識や運転行動に影響を及ぼす総合的要因を探った．その結果，①若者や運転歴の浅いドライバーは，特に「生活道路は，抜け道として利用すべきでない」という意識が低いこと②「裏通り」と認識される街路空間はドライバーに走行の抵抗感も与え，抜け道利用の抑制につながる可能性があることが明らかとなった．

本研究では，交通事故の実データを用いることで，初めて衣服色彩と交通事故の関連性を明らかにした．明暗条件別に見ると，日中や夜間でも照明のある明るい環境下では高明度衣服，薄暮時のような薄暗い環境下では中明度衣服，夜間でも照明等が無く暗い環境下では低明度衣服で事故が多発していることが明らかとなった．また，速度環境別に見ると，低速度環境下では低明度衣服で事故が多発しており，自動車の走行速度が増すにつれ，高明度衣服でも事故が多発していることが明らかとなった．

In this study, questionary investigation about the relinquishment of the driver license that was not examined enough till now is conducted in Tsuyama city, Okayama prefecture to hold many villages. Then, this study aims to analyze the time when the resident wants to relinquish the driver license and intentional relinquishment of the driver license in various situations focus on individual attribution and residence characteristic. As a result, it is clarified that not only sex or age but also residence characteristic such as the bus service level influenced intentional relinquishment of the driver license greatly. In addition, this study shows the possibility that the relinquishment of the driver license is promoted by improvement of the bus service than change of situations about residence and resident oneself.

Despite the effort to restructuring the bus system by local governments and bus companies, it is not negligible that the bus is going out of service. The consciousness of "riding the buses to keep them" is necessary for bus to run sustainably. Therefore this study aims to reveal the structure about the consciousness of "riding the buses to keep them". As a result, it is shown that the consciousness structures are different in bus users and nonusers. Especially, bus users who live in low life support service areas are very conscious of "riding the buses to keep them". In contrast, about nonusers the environment for the usage of the nearest bus stop affects the consciousness of "riding the buses to keep them". Additionally social capital affects the consciousness of "riding the buses to keep them" of all citizens.

Even after the projects were officially established, many were not being used and some users stop using the system after sometimes. 本研究では，エコマインドとエコカーの保有・利用行動の関係について分析した．その結果，エコカー利用者は，自動車利用量がむしろ多く，ガソリン価格高騰に対する反応も鈍いことが明らかになった．また，エコマインドの強い者は自動車に依存しない，という関係性は読み取れず，その一方でエコマインドの強い者は，環境に優しいエコカーを選択する傾向が強いが，その結果自動車の利用を増やし環境負荷を高めてしまう構造があることが示された．

本研究では，速度規制の効果，並びに違反されやすい道路の要因を明らかにすることで，生活道路の一律30km/h規制に向けての課題を検討した．その結果，ドライバーは道路に適していると感じる走行速度で運転し，生活道路における速度規制に速度の抑制効果は確認できなかった．また，生活道路を一律30km/h規制とした場合の違反率に着目した分析を行い，生活道路であっても多くの路線で多くのドライバーが30km/hを超過して運転していることが明らかになった．

本研究では，動画と静止画に着目し，サンプル画像を見る際に動画と静止画で被験者の街路評価に差異が生じるかどうかについて検討した．動画と静止画では被験者が影響を受ける景観要素は異なり，動画では道路幅員や街路樹，静止画では沿道立地密度や歩道部分から影響を受けていることが明らかとなった．また，運転者と非運転者について分析した結果，全体的な傾向として動画では評価の違いが小さく，静止画では評価に大きな違いが見られることが明らかとなった．

本研究では，カラー舗装化対策が実施された豊田市の住宅地内交差点を対象に，対策前後における走行挙動として，交差点進入時の速度変化，交通量変化等を観測し，比較分析を行い，対策の効果検討を行った．その結果，優先/非優先の区別がなく，道路幅員の狭い交差点において，一時停止規制等により速度を低下させなければならない流入部では，対策の導入によって減速効果をもたらす可能性を有していること，比較的道路幅員が広く，一時停止規制等の速度制御義務のない流入部においては，運転者が自車の走行速度を制御するほどまでの注意を喚起するには至っていないことが明らかとなった．

都市部を中心に幹線道路の渋滞回避のために住宅地内の道路へ流入する「抜け道」交通が各地で見られ、沿道住民の生活環境の悪化を招いている。この対策として、道路ネットワークの改良などの抜本的な手法もあるが、抜け道として利用されている道路の改良により、ドライバーの意識を変更するという方法も考えられる。本研究では、ドライバーの意識に着目し、抜け道利用されにくい街路空間とはどのようなものであるのかということを検討した。岡山市内での意識調査から、抜け道利用を容認する意識は、街路空間の特性から導き出されてくることが明らかになり、また、ドライバーの認識に道路の物理的空間要素のどの要素が大きく影響してくるかということも明らかになった。この結果は道路空間の改良によってドライバーの抜け道利用をしても良いという意識をコントロールし得ることを示唆しており、道路空間の整備による抜け道交通抑制の可能性を示したものであると考えられる。

交通環境負荷の低い都市構造に関する議論は今、実際都市の構造をどのようにデザインしていくべきか、その具体策が求められる時を迎えている。このような状況下で本研究では、居住者からの視点が重要であるという認識のもと、自動車の運転量半減を求められた際の居住者の転居必要性判断について空間分布として把握し、低炭素型の都市構造実現に向けた検討を行った。その結果、高いサービスレベルを有する公共交通とリンクした都市構造集約化や人口密度の高密化の重要性が居住者側の視点からも改めて示された。その一方で、居住地特性以外の影響も決して無視できず、低炭素型社会の実現に向けては、公共交通と人口密度をリンクさせた都市構造の転換のみでなく、居住者の事情をも考慮した対策があわせて必要不可欠であることが示された。

In this study, we aimed to evaluate the effect of color pavement measure for Traffic Safety in the intersection of residential area, based on resident's attitudes such as the viewpoint of "car", "bicycle" and "pedestrian", and to verify the effect through the grasping of the change in the traffic actual condition. In the result, we were able to confirm the effect to promote the attitude change of the car driver, in particular, but were not able to confirm the change of traffic actual condition as traffic volume and vehicle speed.

経年的に自動車利用が急増している中山間地域においては、未だに交通環境負荷削減に関する対策が講じられていない。本研究では岡山県津山市域を対象として居住者の自動車利用に伴うCO2排出量に着目し、地域構造そのものを見直す複数の中長期的なシナリオ分析を実施した。この結果、都市コンパクト化や公共交通利用促進といった都市部で一般的な単独施策をそのまま適用しても目に見える効果は発現しないことが示唆された。その一方で、雇用施設を備えた生活拠点を地域中心や遠方の地域にまで複数配置して居住者の交通行動の集約化を図る、すなわち分散集中の地域構造改善策の実施効果が高く、2035年にBAU比で約46%もの自動車CO2排出量(平日)が削減される可能性が明らかとなった。

本研究では，将来的な自動車利用に関するアンケート調査などに基づき居住者の施策受容性や意識に配慮した上で，地域構造やガソリン価格，低燃費車を対象として居住者の自動車利用に伴うCO2排出量の削減効果を明らかにした．対象とした広島都市圏での分析結果から，地域構造転換や低燃費車の普及といったそれぞれの研究分野で期待されていた削減施策に加え，ガソリン価格の上昇（燃料価格自体の上昇や自動車燃料固有の税の導入）による影響が大きいことが示された．

本研究では都市型レンタサイクルにおける電気アシスト自転車導入の効果について社会実験を通じた利用実態調査，利用意識調査，非利用者意識調査から，まちなか滞在時間の延長させること，意識的側面では電気アシスト自転車の利用経験が導入の重要性に影響を与える可能性があることを明らかにした．また，一度でも電気アシスト自転車を利用してもらうことが利用意識面での導入効果を高めることになると考えられる．

本論文では，「逆シルエット視」での道路照明を念頭に，セラミックメタルハライドランプ（白色光）と高圧ナトリウムランプ（橙色光）の２種類の光源を対象として，道路照明の色と視認性に関する検討を行った．その結果，橙色光源は色の違い，輪郭の判別など，安全性に関わる基本的な要因が総合評価に影響を与えており，白色光源は安心感という心理的側面が総合評価に影響を与えていることが明らかとなった．

本研究では，愛知県豊田市で2年にわたる住民参加型での検討を経て2008年4月から地域バスの運行が始まった藤岡地区(旧西加茂郡藤岡町)を取り上げ自治体主導で住民参加型の検討方式を用いてバス導入を図る際のポイントについて考察し，住民自身ではできない事務手続きや費用負担等の過大な役割を住民に与えず，枠組みを構築した上で路線の設定や停留所の設置場所等，一定の範囲について住民に決定してもらうようにすることが，自治体主導で住民参加手法を活用する際に有効な手段の一つである可能性を示した．

本研究では，2年以上にわたって続けている尾張旭市のコミュニティバスを事例として，特に利用者意識の経年変化を捉え，運行開始後の自治体バスの，評価や見直しに関して取るべき方策について考察した．その結果，定期的な利用者意識を把握することとそれによる見直しの重要性を指摘したその結果，運行に慣れるとともに求める運行水準が高くなっていく可能性があることが明らかになった．

本研究では，愛知県豊田市で行った社会実験をもとに，近年，検討・導入が進められているゴム製の設置型ハンプについて，ドライバー及び居住者の評価と，自動車走行速度，騒音，振動の計測結果を用い，評価を行った．その結果，形状として，サイン曲線ハンプが優れていること，ハンプ自体への居住者の反応が良いことが明らかとなり，ゴム製の設置型ハンプの今後の導入可能性が高いことが明らかとなった．

小学校などの単位でヒヤリハットマップを作成し，交通安全対策に利用することは全国各地で実施されている．しかし，紙ベースでの作成や地域が限定されているなど市全体で統一的につくられている事例は少ない．本研究により作成した，ＧＩＳを利用したヒヤリハットマップと交通事故データ分析との比較により，指摘箇所と事故地点が一致しない場合が多いことが明らかとなり，一致する場所も含めた事故対策の候補地を選定する際に大きな効果があることが明らかになった．

The problem of "rat-run" traffic has not been very much solved in urban area. In precedence study, actual traffic condition of rat-run and the mechanism of rat-run utilization in drivers were clarified. With this recognition, the purpose of this study is to examine about the orientation of countermeasures for rat-run traffic as a case in Toyota. The consciousness on road traffic environment of rat-run roadside inhabitant was analyzed. And, the impact analysis in the case of countermeasure and improvement variously was carried out using the traffic assignment simulation. The result showed that the countermeasure considering environment of district in rat-run and road network characteristic around the district was important.

本研究では，「抜け道」として認識されている道路の交通実態を把握し，ドライバーの「抜け道」利用に対する意識との関連性を分析した．その結果，約8割のドライバーが抜け道箇所を認識しており，渋滞箇所の認識数と抜け道箇所の認識数には関連があり，渋滞箇所をよく知っているほど抜け道もよく知っている傾向が明らかとなった．また，抜け道を「たまに利用する」を含め，少なくとも9割以上のドライバーが抜け道を利用していることが把握された．

本研究では，東京都葛飾区の青戸コミュニティ・ゾーンを対象に，コミュニティ・ゾーンにおける歩車共存道路の段階的な整備に伴う効果の変化，整備後の通行の慣れなどによる効果の経年変化について検証を行った．整備直後からの変化として自動車交通量，速度がやや増加・上昇傾向にあるが，効果は継続しており，意識調査でも自動車の台数や速度はむしろ低下していると感じる住民が増えていることが明らかとなった．

In order to improve the comfort of bus stops, Toyota City government tried to use the halls of public facilities as bus shelters. Bus users highly appreciate the trial. But, that have big problem. During the morning and evening rush hour, the bus system did not work punctually. So, Toyota City Government tried to install demand system for their bus service.<BR>In this paper, we try to evaluate the systems by field survey, questionnaire survey, and interviews. These tells us the system works well and bus user feels nice to the systems. And the bus company also evaluate the system as good one from the point of view of safety.

To get off the center line on the low traffic collector road is effective or not in order to increase the traffic safety? In Japan, this kind of measure is put to the test from 2000. In this Paper, we try to evaluate the measure by the change of the number of traffic accident, traffic volume, traffic speed, and the questionnaire for people living near the installed street. We found that the measure is effective at least in some cases and in such case, people living near the street thought to be safer by this way, and satisfied the effect. But in other cases, the number of accidents did not decrease.

本研究では，我が国の住宅地に多く見られる歩道のない単断面の街路における交通静穏化手法として狭さくの可能性を検討した．単断面道路における狭さくについては，歩行者，自転車，自動車の交錯時における挙動が大きな評価要素となることが分かっており，従来の狭さく内側の幅員に加えて路側側の幅員に注目する必要があることが明らかになった．

本研究では，コミュニティ・ゾーンの整備効果についてマクロ的な分析を行い，全国でこれまでに進められてきた整備の状況及び整備効果について分析した．その結果，住宅地が主な対象だと考えられていたコミュニティ・ゾーンの整備地区は，商業系半数近くも占めていること，利用されている手法では，ハード的手法では歩車共存道路，コミュニティ道路の利用が多く，ソフト的手法では一方通行，駐車禁止などが多く導入されていること，交通量・走行速度・交通事故ともに一定の効果が現れていることが明らかとなった．

本研究では，運転中の心拍数や心拍変動が変化することに着目して運転者の心理状態を考察した．幹線道路では道路構造が同様でも無事故路線に比べて事故多発路線ではLF/HFの平均値が増加し，HFの平均値が減少して緊張が高いことが示され，さらに交通事故多発区間では，心拍変動の変動係数が一定値へ収束し，個人差が小さくなり，緊張の途切れが交通事故の要因のひとつとなっていることが明らかとなった．

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the new area-wide traffic calming project "Community Zone", especially in the ability of improvement in safety and quality on living environment.
